In 1930's Paddle boarding became a recreational sport, athletes join competitions riding a traditional paddle boards but lightened to travel more distance. Today there are many types of paddle boards for different riding styles, there are racing paddle boards used by athletes in competitions, and there are also cruisers designed for mellow type of riders that just want to see the view, and there are also women paddle boards and kids paddle boards. This is because of the sport's continuous evolution. The diversity of the sport gives interest and enthusiasm to people who tried it.
Now paddle boarding is another way of experiencing the thrill inexpensively. It also gives you a chance to relax and be one with the ocean, be one with nature and to further understand more why we are here in the first place.
